Christmas is approaching fast now and the hard work at the Pendlebury Centre continues…

Many of our Key Stage 3 and Year 10 students who were with us in September have returned back to school full time or for around 90% of the time. We wish them well.

We have also welcomed a number of Year 11 students. They have joined a thriving group who just last week sat their mock exams. All Year 11s were a credit to themselves in their effort and enthusiasm during a time that can prove to be daunting.

Squeezed amongst the more academic part of their week, Year 11 students have continued to progress on the Duke of Edinburgh programme – undertaking canoeing as part of their ‘physical’ module and making Christmas wreaths, ahead of our charity coffee morning, as part of their ‘volunteering’ module.

The coffee morning will take place on Friday 18th December, 11 – 12.30. All parents/carers of students are welcome to attend. This is a good opportunity to see the work of the Pendlebury Centre, meet staff and meet one another.
