Cheadle Heath Primary School Planters Project

Cheadle Heath Primary School Planters Project

This half-term students in Year 11 and Cedars have been working at our next door neighbour, Cheadle Heath Primary School, with their green spaces. This ties in with the Duke of Edinburgh Award, our work towards RHS accreditation and the City of Trees initiative.

Cedars students have been busily creating a sensory garden and adding trees to the school’s Forest School area.

The Year 11s have planned and created a rainbow garden which they will hand over to the Years 6 Emerald class to continue. This will count towards their Duke of Edinburgh Award ‘Volunteering’ section. Here are a few photos of the ‘work in progress’…

The ‘artist’s impression’ of how it will look when finished… (the bunting is already up and looks great from the roadside!)
