Last Friday (the 13th!), students and staff at the Pendlebury Centre raised money for Comic Relief. We had a ‘wear red’ non-uniform day and a cake sale. We are particularly grateful to one of our parents who supplied us with some delicious Comic Relief cupcakes.

In total, we raised £97 for the charity. During our Friday Forum, we reflected on the fact it takes just £1.50 to fund emergency ambulance journeys for premature births in rural Uganda – which is the equivalent of 64 journeys and potentially 64 lives saved.

Well done to all involved!
