On Wednesday 22nd of October, the Humanities group visited the Museum of Science and Industry. This was part a project called ‘Sense of Place’ looking at what makes Britain a first world country. We have looked at third world problems, examples of fast developing countries and the British industrial revolution from 1750 to 1900. We have also looked at why Stockport and Manchester were important in making Britain a rich and powerful country.
